Friends of The Lab School
"The Friends" is the social, fundraising, and parent support group for The Lab School. Providing similar services as a PTO would do, The Frien
ds of The Lab School organizes a variety of fundraisers and social events such as the annual auction, progressive dinner, gift wrap sale, plant sale, back-to-school and year-end family picnics, Adopt-A-Family (charitable project at Christmas) and classroom support efforts.
The Friends has its own board with officers and directors. The Board coordinates the many committees and parent volunteers as they all work to support the school, staff, and programs which is all done for the benefit of the children.
All parents in the school automatically become members of The Friends. The level of participation in this parent group is up to each individual family.
